Circus Skills

  Slack Rope
After graduating from the Circus Space with an Ba(Hons) Specialising in Slack rope Chris has been searching for and training in all the forms of rope walking he can find. He is particularly interested in the different tensions of rope and wire used by different cultures…. From the High wire dare devils to the slack-lining climbers and traditional Korean Jultagi (A hand tensioned rope ) or Columbian Blondine (Thick sprung tight rope) .
  Juggling
Chris has been juggling since the age of 5. Concentrating on ball juggling he has created a diverse style mixing contact, spinning and toss juggling with movement, acrobatics and multiple balances. In June 2009 he completed the first post-graduate course in contemporary circus, researching the relationship between juggling and music as part of an MA at the Danshogskolan in Stockholme.
  Sky Walker
At the 2009 highwire world championships in South Korea Chris realised the dream of walking on a giant High-wire stretching 1km over the Han river in South Korea. He continues to train on the highwire and is looking for the next big walk. Click here to watch movie. Click here to watch slide show.
